Learning Outcome 4
Traditional community service has become more difficult for me because of COVID. Regardless, I continue to work on my University of Houston internship from home. I have continued to upload images of various artworks around Houston and have even had to learn a bit of coding in order to do so. The Gibson Group (who heads the project) has never had to be this online and limited with in person contact and what not. As a result, their creation of their own website isn't exactly user friendly because of the complex nature of the digital board process. They've had to instruct me and 4 other graduate students on how to upload both in batch and single and have also taught us how to move about the website and mark images for different uses. Although this sort of thing isn't necessarily in my realm of knowledge, I do find it very useful to learn all of this as technology is undeniably a huge part of my future and the worlds.
