Learning Outcome 4
As I near the completion of my internship, I've gotten to see what the final product will likely resemble and it's quite amazing to see what I've helped to create. Of course there are still a couple of artworks to be added to the project, but for the most part everything is complete. Understanding my own contribution to the representation of Mexican Americans and Latinos within my community means a lot to me. And so seeing this project being completed makes for a great end to my internship with the University of Houston and the Inter-University Program for Latino Research. I am so excited for this digital board to be showcased not only to the rest of Houston, but also to the artists who are represented within the board itself. I am excited to see their reaction to the massive amount of work that has been put into this project and am even more excited for the representation it represents with respect to the community it showcases.
